I could hear the birds outside, I knew I was back in my room as it was the same sound I listened to each morning. I had focused on their happy chirping for a while now, trying to force myself to open my eyes. My head felt heavy, a dull irritating pain lingering behind my eyes, I could only presume this was the reason my eyes were refusing to open just yet.
