“What about Francesca?”
Elizabeth and Sawyer were upstairs. Elizabeth was changing out of her dress and Selene was making drinks downstairs in preparation for them to have a serious talk with Robin. They would take what Selene wanted into account, but the final decision was up to Sawyer, and he needed to talk to Elizabeth about what they would be willing to offer Robin, and what they would want him to do for them.
“I know he was bad to her, but we don’t have much of a choice Elizabeth. If we make it clear she has more status than him she should be OK with it.”
“You know that is wrong as well as I do.”
“She isn’t here. She chose to leave to find others on her own and there’s nothing I can do about it. He’s here now, and she isn’t. I can’t ask her opinion.”
