“Oh, I’m so sorry,” Francesca sounded rather annoyed by his complaint even though she was otherwise sympathetic to the situation. “Would tomorrow have been more convenient? Or sometime next Tuesday? Perhaps next time she should consult with you thoroughly beforehand and make sure she fits it in around your busy schedule.”
