** Sarah’s POV ** ‘I remember what Valerie had told me, ‘let the darkness in and let it envelope you’ but there is this gnawing feeling in me that every time I let it in, like I am losing a part of me in the process but the hurt of being kept in the dark for all my life and memories of the way my friend chose to hurt me, make that darkness a welcome change’.
