I slowly approach Melany to examine her. Long surgical scars on her abdomen are still covered in white bandages. As I touch her stomach, she wakes up and immediately screams in fear, "Who are you? Don't come near me... I don't want you. You're evil!!! "
"Melany, calm down. You are safe now. You are in the Blue Sapphire Pack hospital. I am Doctor Kaylie, the one who operated on you," I say softly. Melany's eyes seem to stare at me, filled with suspicion.
"There was no one named Doctor Kaylie in my pack before. You must be lying," she screams hysterically. Lucas steps forward and says, "Melany, Doctor Kaylie is the one who helped Luna Leah when she was injured. She saved the life of our child. Unfortunately, Luna Leah couldn't be saved. What really happened that day?"
