Melany welcomes me and Adam in front of Adam’s room, and it seems like his body has fully recovered, ready to become Adam's babysitter.
"Respect my Luna," she says, bowing as I smile at her.
"Oh, no... Don't call me Luna. Just Kaylie is fine," I respond.
"I'm sorry, I can't do that, Luna. Alpha Lucas would be angry with me," Melany says.
"Alpha Lucas won't be angry. And I have not been officially appointed as Luna. In the human world, I'm still his girlfriend, not his wife. And you know, dating can sometimes lead to breakups, especially since Alpha Lucas is my first boyfriend. Who knows, I might meet a more handsome alpha and decide to break up with him," I say with a wide grin.
