Kaylie POV
Rose and Jenson are seated on the sofa, their eyes filled with sympathy as they look at me and Lucas.
"The elders in the council will summon you and Kaylie tomorrow, Luc, to provide a statement regarding why you chose Kaylie as your mate," Jenson informs us.
"I haven't had a chance to inform them about Kaylie being my mate. How did they find out?" Lucas asks, confused.
"Mia, the council leader's daughter, reported to her father that he saw you hugging Kaylie in the hospital. That's why they want to question you," Jenson explains.
"That damn girl! Why does she always spy on me?" Lucas exclaims in frustration.
"You know, Mia has had a crush on you since high school, and she thought she had a chance to become the Luna to replace Leah, but you fell for Kaylie," Rose chimes in
