I wake up to a gentle kiss on my cheek from Lucas. Slowly, I blink my eyes, not really wanting to get up just yet. My body still feels exhausted, probably from shifting into Ay and battling that evil Roque, or maybe it's the aftermath of my passionate night with Lucas. But it should not be the latter, as I usually feel energized after being intimate with Lucas. So, this overwhelming sleepiness must be because of my shift with Ay.
"Luc... I'm still sleepy," I murmur with a hoarse voice.
"Go back to sleep, love. I know your body is worn out from your shift and the intense fight against that psychopath Roque," he says softly while stroking my hair.
I mumble, still with my eyes closed, "Then why did you kiss me? I still want to sleep. What time is it?"
