Dona's stubbornness cost me a chance to send a clear message to Ivy. She hurt my feelings and it was going to take more than our parents’ relationship and being step-siblings to make me trust her again. Dona came running to me in the busy hallway, grabbed my arm and collapsed on my shoulder forcing me to stop and hold her. No idea how she knew I was going to do it instead of letting her fall off. Then again it was hard to not to believe we were together when we kept touching each other in public considering the fact that she had not come out of the closet to the entire school about her s****l preference.
"Wait!" She said breathing heavily.
"Okay, you're wheezing, did she inject you with asthma?"
