Isabella hesitated, still conflicted, but eventually gave in and moved toward him. She lowered herself onto his lap, her heart heavy with doubt and frustration. Enrico’s strong arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer, his touch both comforting and controlling. “In situations like this,” he began, his voice a low murmur in her ear, “you need to learn to remove your emotions. You have to look at the situation as an outsider, as someone who has no personal ties to any of the people involved. Only then can you make a clear, logical decision.” Isabella’s body tensed as she listened.
