AFTER we bid goodbyes, Demitrius and I took the potion once more in order for us to breathe underwater. It took us another thirty minutes until we finally emerged from the sea.
We noticed Ikarus waiting for us on the cliff.
"Your highness! My lady!" he cried when he saw our heads emerge out of the water.
"Are you alright?" he questioned as he tried to pull me out from the water.
Demitrius doesn't require help, since he can pull himself up without any sweat.
"Move," he commanded coldly, urging Ikarus to get out of the path.
I rolled my eyes at him as he was handing his hand over to me. He still doesn't like it when another man touches me.
I grabbed for his hand, then he drew me back to rock effortlessly.
We were both catching our breath as we sat down on top of the rock.
