THE NIGHT passed by in a blink of an eye. Ikarus wake us up before dawn. We need to start our journey once again. Our time is running out and we only have few more days to prepare our army for the upcoming war. We already failed to convince the Aquina to join our war. Though she assures me that my power would be enough to defeat King Faustus, I'm not sure if we can really do that. I don't have the same confidence that she has on me.
“Are you ready, my lady?“ Ikarus asked me as we finised putting out the fire that we made last night.
“Keep your hands off her,” Demetrius warned Ikarus as he slowly walked closer to me.
I roll my eyes at him to show my displease. I don't why he hadn't got processed the fact that Ikarus has no interest in me. He still thinks of him as a competition.
