I paced around the empty space and wondered when Eliza would be joining me again. I had no sense of time here, but it felt like years have passed. I was starting to panic though as I still couldn’t wake up. I have tried and tried but always fail. For whatever reason, I still couldn’t wake up.
“Hey,” the sound of Eliza’s voice made me jump with joy as I turned to see her standing there. She looked tired, but this time her smile was genuine and reached her eyes. I rushed over to her and hugged her tightly. “Aw, you missed me again, didn’t you,” she said playfully as we pulled apart and I laughed.
“Yeah, I did miss you,” I admitted. “How long have you been gone for? Because for me, it felt like years,” Eliza avoided my intense gaze and question. “Eliza?” I pushed.
