Ever since I had that dream, I've been keeping an eye on everything around us and sticking to Eva like glue in order to be able to protect her on time if needed.
All the while I thought that the chaos was coming from outside and I never expected it to come from right next to me.
When Wendy didn't shut her mouth and started blabbering unnecessary things, I diverted my gaze to Eva only to see her clenching and un-clenching her fists in anger.
"Did you know that he liked it when I kissed behind his ear?" Wendy's words made Eva snap and lose all control over herself and the beast inside of her.
Gumihos are extremely possessive creatures; they even exceed that of any alpha. So imagine what it would be like for Eva, hearing that her mate slept with someone else.
