Eva's POV
I gasped in a deep breath as my head submerged from the water.
I was a bit lost and confused at first but by time and a couple of answered questions by Alexis, I understood everything.
It's been two weeks now since I started roaming as a soul. Every time I would go to sleep then the next thing I know, I'm in the lake where I was reborn as a Gumiho ten years ago.
Alexis explained to me that since my body can't survive without the pearl, my soul has detached itself from it and is now on the search.
I saw this as a great opportunity to get my pearl back without Logan having to endanger himself. Hopefully, I'll be able to find it before its too late since I only have about a week or so left.
I feel weak, very weak to tell you the truth and the energy consumed to detach my soul
