Eva's POV
I opened my eyes groggily and daw nothing but darkness.
Are my eyes still closed?
I looked around me in confusion.
Where the hell am I?
My whole body ached as I struggled to get up on my feet. I wasn't able to see anything or feel anything but the hard surface below my feet.
I then, caught a glimpse of a gently blue light from behind. Getting back to my senses fully, I felt a tail moving from my back.
Bringing it in front of me, it was indeed one of my tails. But why do I have only one? Where are the rest?
Something inside me had me thinking that this was my ninth tail, the one that didn't grow when I was alive.
Then where are the rest? And where am I?
I started walking straight ahead, not knowing where I'm going.
