After taking a bath, I immediately packed my clothes in a small duffel bag. My heart is obviously heavy for leaving my grandmother alone again but I don’t really have a choice. I have to leave her for her own safety. For now, I have to go back to Chicago and face everything that’s keeping me from moving on. I grabbed my jacket hanging behind the door before going out.
