I brought the back of my hand to wipe away my cheek . The sight of the door so close in front of me had propelled me to move faster in my burning need to be away from him once again . I felt shattered and dispondent at this point knowing with how much of hope I had come here thinking that Ryder would be ready to be mature about things but, once again , I was utterly mistaken about him .
