We knocked at the door and waited patiently but my patience was running out . With Lianna standing so close to me , I had not much room to breath any amount of air that did not carry her scent with it .
I heard her inhale like she was about to say some thing but she reached her hand out to me instead . " It would be weird if we walked in here looking as miserable as we are . " She sounded so done at this point especially when I just looked at her hand blankly . She groaned in frustration . " For goodness sake , your hand is not going to melt if you hold mine . " I caught her roll her eyes at me , some thing she did often , and I felt my jaw clamp down tightly .
I reached for her extended hand and she saperate her fingers right when I was about to hold hers with my fingers
