the restaurant that a Ryder had chosen for tonight had been one of the fanciest Italian restaurants in the city . it almost always required individuals to make reservations well in advance so I was surprised when we got to the front door and the tall and really buff man standing behind the podium saw Ryder and let him through even though there had been a long line of people waiting to get in .
I suppose it was stupid of me to be surprised at this point granted that this was Ryder we were talking about. I guess , even after all this time , I still did not fully adapt to how I fluential and powerful he really is .
