Kathy’s POV
“Kathy… Kathy…” My eyes were closed, but I can feel someone was shaking me, trying to wake me up.
I fluttered my eyes open to see who it was, but my eyes closed again as a stream of bright light greeted me. I blocked it using my arm.
“You can open now your eyes; the lights are dimmed,” the familiar voice said.
My eyes opened once again, and I saw Josh standing while Maddie was sitting next to my bed.
“Where am I? what happened?” I asked them. I couldn’t remember anything, and from the look on their faces, I knew something went wrong.
Maddie held my hand. “You’re still here in your hotel room, but we rushed here as soon as we heard what happened,” she answered.
I closed my eyes once again to recall what happened.
