THIRD POV         Kathy decided to leave the hotel lounge and head outside to the hotel's seaside area, silently praying Miles didn’t see her. She walked in a rush with her bagels and hot coffee. The sun was out high, people were sunbathing, playing beach ball, and kids were making their sandcastles.         She looked around and found some empty beach chairs. Wearing her oversized baggy white shirt and dark leggings, people must be judging her outfit on the beach. She looked underdressed, but she didn’t mind.         Opening the paper bag with her bagels, she smelt the fresh scent of newly cooked bread.
