“Josh!?” He heard someone called his name. He turned around and saw Alexis. Belinda heard it as well, so she followed Josh’s gaze.
“Alexis!”
“What are you guys doing here? Is there something wrong? Belinda….” The moment Alexis saw Belinda crying, she realized there must be something wrong. Josh was wordless.
“I was asked to come here check my patient… don’t tell me…shit!” she put two and two together. “I’ll be back!” then she went on her way to the Emergency room.
Alexis wasn’t anticipating this. She was called by the hospital A&E ward and said one of her patients was admitted. She didn’t ask for information. She went straight to the Accidents and Emergency unit, where she never expected to be greeted by Josh and Belinda in a melancholy mood.
