I didn’t go to work today; my body and heart were in pain. Miles did the most despicable thing to me last night. He tried to push himself to me. He accused me of having other men in my life, and he even called me names again. I felt so tired; my soul was weary. I didn’t know why life was treating me this way. Last night was my last straw; I will be leaving him soon.
I went to the doctor yesterday, and Alexis was worriedly sick about me. My health was receding, and she said I don’t look entirely fit like I was weeks ago, but the stress was eating me alive. Alexis advised me to have complete bed rest and stay off my feet for a few days. She even threatened me to tell Miles my secret if I won’t listen to her, so I decided to follow her.
