51: A Cage

“You are a tricky one, little mutt.” I look out of the cage at the speaker, Lord Beldun. “It’s been fun to try to tear you down and make you compliant to our needs, but I don’t have time for this cat-and-mouse game anymore.” The cage is made of steel bars going from floor to ceiling and surrounds me on every side. It’s rather large for one person. However, I should admit I share space with a sleeping pallet with manacles and chains and a table with similar equipment. One of those chains is still stained red after I killed one elf. He tried to chain me to the table for easier access to my body. Lord Beldun, the pompous prick, walks back and forth by my cage.
