"Damn near impossible," Truscot said. "But I would have said vampires were impossible too." Martin saw a flash of movement ahead, between two cars. Truscot saw it too because he snapped his g*n forward and started running toward the movement. Martin felt his pulse race and he wanted to sprint after Truscot and get there first. Bill was already charging and holding his pole like a spear. Martin forced his feelings away and dashed after them. He tried to remember how long between the sighting and the attack on the video.
