Tina smiled in relief and continued giving Godsent his food, while Chris wondered jealously what was making Tina smile when she heard about Patrick.
"Why are you smiling?" Chris asked, trying hard to control his jealousy.
"Shouldn't I smile? I am just happy to see you today. How are your mom, dad, and siblings at home? I mean your brothers, since your only sister is already married," Tina smiled, and Chris replied, "They're all fine, dear."
After finishing their food, Tina stood up and went inside. She told her mother, "Mom, I will soon be leaving for my seamstress workplace with Godsent and Chris."
"Okay," Mama-Tina replied, even though she wasn't happy with Chris's visit.
Chris stepped into their parlor and greeted Mama-Tina, "Goodbye, ma'am. We're leaving."
"Okay. Bye," Mama-Tina
