Alaric's POV:
The elevator doors close as I see Sarah's face one last time; she is hurt and it's all my fault.
"What just happened in there?" Mack turns to me.
"I think I messed up", I sigh.
"How?"
"Can't we talk about it after the meeting, isn't your father on his way right now?"
"You can cancel it, you need to clear your head", she advises.
"I don't want him to come all this way just to be told the meeting is canceled."
"I'll call him and tell him the meeting has been pushed back, you need to clear your head", she states taking out her phone.
I sigh, I know I mess up big time and now I probably lose Sarah. If she forgives me then I'll be one lucky guy.
Mack talks to her father, "the meeting is for 2 pm instead", I inform Ms. Sai who nods but is avoiding my gaze.
