Sarah's POV:
I feel the time has stopped as Alaric and I hold our gaze, I am the first to look away not liking how my heart is racing, he's the enemy, don't fall for him and his tricks Sarah.
He comes to me and leads me to the dock as Cooper trails behind.
"We're going to take out some photos now", he explains.
We walk onto the dock and hold hands as we look at the camera with smiles on our faces, fake it till you make it, right?
We take a few more with different poses and even share a kiss for the last one and laugh.
"All these are great, I'll pick out which one goes out to the press", Alaric tells Cooper as he goes through the photos, "this one."
"Can I see? I want to make sure it's good enough for the public's eyes", I state tiptoeing to look over Alaric's shoulder.
