~Two weeks later
I was so proud of Micah and Gillian. They handled business together each day and made sure everything was always handled. Micah moved out of the packhouse and into the house his parents lived in. We had always called it the Beta house, but now it was the Gamma house. Gillian handed the clothing store over to the top manager that her mother had hired years ago. I felt like it was hard for her to be there and it was just as hard to let it go.
It’s now a beautiful Friday afternoon and I wanted to get away from work. I’m caught up with all the work I needed to do, so I didn’t need to be in my office anymore today. Instead, I wanted to spend time with Gillian away from our duties and work so we could enjoy life a little. I closed all my work sites and shut my comput
