Orpheus
After walking away from James and Gillian, I paid little to no attention to Nyx as she had a quiet melt down. I walked to my car and climbed into the driver's seat. Nyx climbed in and sat in the passenger seat, saying nothing the whole way home. The drive home to Corinth took an hour and she sat there silently the whole way. I could feel her nervous energy beside me and I ignored it. I wanted her to squirm before we finally talked.
We arrived at the villa that I had owned since I was eighteen years old. I updated this place consistently and had someone look after it while I was gone. There were ten bedrooms in the house with their own private bathrooms, a living area, a kitchen and dining room, an outside dining space that was covered, and a pool.
