"Ladies and gentlemen, the Todd Group is here to cooperate with the Dalton Group in good faith, without any intention to disrespect," Elliot interjected.
Before he could finish, Calvert said with a smile, "I believe the Todd Group has no intention of bullying the Dalton Group. The fact that a family of four has come to celebrate our cooperation shows how much the Todd Group values this partnership. It's clearly a warm welcome for the Dalton Group."
Calvert then turned to Vanya. "Vanya, don't you agree?"
The media lenses swung toward Vanya. She had a faint frown, looking indifferent.
Vanya remarked cooly, "Now that Miss Coleman is pregnant, she really ought to be staying at home. No need for such a grand entrance."
The room crackled with tension.
