Vanya smiled faintly and said, "Alpha Cliff, business is all about harmony and knowing when to back down. It's pretty clear who has the upper hand now."
Cliff said, "What if I'm determined to take you with me today, no matter what?"
"Then you'll have to step over my dead body!"
Suddenly, Veronica's voice came from outside the Dalton family door.
Veronica arrived with a stormy expression, looking unwell as she had rushed over from the hospital.
Cliff was taken aback. "Grandma?"
Veronica entered, her eyes filled with stern disapproval.
She slapped Cliff and said, "Dragging the Todd Group into danger for a woman—— are you even fit to lead the Todd Group? Was this how your grandfather raised you? Useless!"
Cliff clenched his fists but didn't dare to say a word.
