Elmer wailed dramatically, "Dad! You can't do this to me! Everything in the Dalton family was supposed to be mine! How can you leave it all to an outsider?"
"Outsider?" Aldridge's tone turned sharp. "Every inch of this family is a legacy from my eldest brother! All these years, you've lived off the money Vanya brought in. And yet, you dare to harm her?"
Aldridge had always seen Elmer as merely wayward. He'd never expected his son to sink to such monstrous ingratitude.
Coldly, he declared, "I disown you. Now get out of my sight!"
"Dad!"
Theodore interjected coldly, "Didn't you hear Mr. Dalton? Escort him out."
"Yes, sir," came the reply.
