Melinda's spine stiffened instantly, and she slowly turned her head, her eyes filled with restraint and unease.
She stammered, "Yes... yes."
"Are you from room 317?" the principal asked.
Melinda nodded, wondering why the question was being asked.
"Is Raven from your dormitory?"
"...Yes, she is," Melinda glanced at Raven not far away, a hint of barely noticeable panic flashing in her eyes.
