After Vanya left, Godfrey quickly slipped up to Bryant and said, "Hey! What were you talking to that 'Miss Dalton' about?"
"Nothing," Bryant replied, turning to walk away.
Godfrey wasn't giving up. He ran in front of Bryant and asked, "I was watching just now! You two were so close! I don't buy it."
Bryant stopped in his tracks and frowned. "Did you hear us?"
"Nope," Godfrey replied, probably not expecting that question.
He got mad instantly. "You're keeping secrets from me too? Alright, I knew there was something between you two!"
Bryant just felt a headache coming on from all the noise.
He rubbed his forehead, stopped talking, and walked away.
