Megan's resolve wavered again.
One option was for Gillian to spend millions of dollars on a hitman, but the other was to only pay a lawyer to get rid of both Vanya and her, a key witness. The second option was clearly more cost-effective.
"If you just wanted to ruin the show and get revenge, you've done it. If you stop now, I promise you won't get hurt."
Gillian was staring intensely at Megan, waiting for her to plunge the knife into Vanya's neck.
But Megan's hand, holding the knife, slowly dropped.
The moment she lowered her weapon, the security guards rushed over and took her down.
Vanya took two steps back. Cliff rushed to her side, checking her for injuries. His eyes stopped on a red mark on her collarbone.
At that moment, Cliff's movements froze.
