Melinda tried calling Elliot, only to find he had blocked her too.
She didn't dare call the police because of Zander's powerful connections.
As she paced nervously, the door suddenly opened.
Zander walked in, having clearly gotten rid of Cyrus quickly.
He walked slowly toward Melinda, his voice ice-cold. "I can't believe you would dare to betray me."
He grabbed her hair and slammed her to the floor.
"Ah!"
Melinda was trembling. "Alpha Zander, I'm sorry! Please!"
"You made so many mistakes, but the worst one was going to see Cliff!"
