"Trouble! Big trouble!" one of Stewart's subordinates rushed in, breathless.
"The Dalton Group is undergoing a full-scale investigation by the tax and audit departments. It seems... they've actually found financial irregularities!" he panted.
"What?"
Stewart grabbed the man's arm. "We did an internal audit during the handover. Everything checked out!"
"But that was just a formal internal review. Clearly, the accounts had real issues! Preliminary estimates show a deficit of ten million!" the employee stammered.
"Ten million?"
Stewart was stunned, disbelief etched on his face.
Grace frowned and asserted, "This isn't Vanya's doing. Someone's framing her."
"But who? These are Dalton's internal records. Besides Vanya, who else could tamper with them?" Stewart wondere
