"What? Theodore is with you?"
Grace became excited all of a sudden, and Derrick was even more so. "What! You two are together?"
Vanya heard the sound of an emergency brake on the other end of the phone.
Derrick said indignantly, "Why didn't you tell us you were together earlier? You know what? To book the GrandVista Hotel, I spent over a hundred thousand dollars! Get back here now!"
"Yeah, not inviting us to a birthday celebration is just not friendly!" Grace said, though she was actually very pleased inside.
She had thought Theodore was rather awkward, but he had this ability after all.
"We're at the harbor..." Vanya's words were cut short as Theodore took the phone.
He said indifferently, "Not going back tonight. Have fun."
