Vanya couldn't contain her curiosity. "How'd you manage that?" she asked.
The Helbut family was a dominant force in Seattle. She was truly curious what Theodore could've done to make Zander back down.
Pulling out a bank card, Theodore placed it in Vanya's hand. "Five billion, on the nose."
"Five billion?"
Vanya was stunned.
All this over a slap?
"What is this? Some kind of compensation?"
"I got five billion out of him, but I never said I'd stop at five billion." Theodore explained.
