Melinda's POV
I followed the direction Vanya had left earlier.
After walking for a short while, I heard the voice of some ones chatting.
"I have to say, you're really brilliant. How did you make this? Congratulations!" It was Derrick's voice, and I could tell that his tone was full of admiration.
Then Vanya's voice followed, and she also raised her glass.
The door to the room was ajar due to the serving of dishes.
I approached and peeked in to see Vanya and Theodore sitting on one side, seemingly very close to each other, with Theodore taking the opportunity to hand Vanya a napkin as she raised her glass.
My heart was filled with doubts. What was the relationship between Vanya, Theodore, and Derrick?
How could they be dining together?
And they seemed so intimate.
