Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
The machine kept beeping in my head. However, my focus was on Mya and my daughter. The doctor and the nurses were there, especially my mother. Mya was knocked out, missing everything. They had to put her to sleep since it was an emergency c-section. The doctor and nurses were talking, but I couldn’t wrap my mind around it. They were saying things I didn’t comprehend.
“Christian!” Mother shouted my name.
I looked at her and she smiled. She knew I was having a hard time with it and I loved how she tried her best to make sure I was there.
“I’m fine.” I told her.
“Go to your father. He wants to talk to you.”
