I was exhausted and I could tell that my siblings were tired too. Especially Carmen. The interview hadn’t even started yet and all I wanted to do was go home. I wanted to snuggle up with my mate in bed and sleep.
“Ok, let’s do this,” I looked up to see Steve come in with some other dude. This dude nodded before he sat down across from Carmen and me. Steve joined him as Zack leaned against the wall and Jett closed the door behind him. I had already told them everything I knew, so I wasn’t sure what would happen next but I remained silent while Steve and the other dude whispered to each other.
“Get started,” I heard Zack snap, and I was tempted to give him a dirty look, however, I was grateful that someone had spoken up.
