Elizabeth sounded a little defensive, but she knew that of all people Sawyer knew the value a name could have.
“I didn’t mean you should start throwing around his name like you’re his only begotten heir or anything. I know that you have your own name. You have achieved a hell of a lot as Elizabeth Artemis Sloane, I am never going to try and take your name away from you. I just thought that knowing who he is, or was, might help you. And it doesn’t hurt to have an impressive name to throw around if he happens to be well known - which I suspect he is.”
