"Is this really what you want, Agatha?"
I am standing by the window, looking outside at our garden as she rechecks if she has got everything that belongs to her. I cannot actually believe that she is serious about leaving and taking our kids with her. This is absurd.
"Luke, we spoke about this," She says.
"No, you talked and I listened!" I raise my voice a little higher, turning to face her.
"Luke, please don't start, not now," She steps back as I step towards her.
"Agatha, you know, going out and listening to people that you have only met 5 seconds ago is not good, my love,"
"I don't know what you are talking about," She says, looking directly into my eyes.
Lord help me; she looks so brave for my liking.
