As they stepped out of the café, Georgia pulled her sunglasses over her eyes and looked at Mark. “I still can’t believe all of that is mine,” she said, her voice low, like she was scared someone might hear. Mark chuckled. “Well, believe it. And we’re just getting started.” She blinked at him. “Seriously, though… A whole inheritance? And now I’m getting a car?” “Yeah,” he said. “You deserve it, Georgia. You’ve been through a lot. It’s time you got something good.” They got into Mark’s car and drove straight to one of the biggest car showrooms in the city. Georgia’s mouth dropped open the moment she saw the building. All glass and shine, with luxury cars parked like kings waiting to be picked. “Whoa,” she muttered. “Come on,” Mark said with a grin. “Let’s find your ride.” Inside, the
