THIRTY MINUTES LATER Georgia pushed open the door to her hotel room and stepped inside, her arms full of shopping bags. The door closed with a soft thud behind her. “Finally,” she muttered, dropping the bags on the bed one by one with a sigh. She stood for a second, just breathing. The soft hum of the air conditioner and the quiet buzz of the city outside the window filled the room. Georgia looked around her room, It was calm in here. Peaceful.
