GEORGIA’S OFFICE : LATE EVENING The sky outside Georgia’s glass office had turned a soft orange, the city lights slowly flickering to life below. She leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head with a quiet sigh. The last file on her desk was signed and neatly stacked beside the others. She stood and slid her blazer over her shoulders, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. The room was calm now, most of the staff had gone home. Only the sound of distant footsteps and muffled keyboards echoed in the building. Naomi peeked through the glass door, her tablet in hand. “Ma’am, Troy’s downstairs waiting. I’ve also sent your final notes, and your schedule for tomorrow has been updated.” Georgia smiled softly. “Thanks, Naomi. Let’s head out.” OUTSIDE : MOMENTS LATE
