BROOKS ENTERPRISES: GEORGIA’S OFFICE, NEXT EVENING The quiet hum of the AC filled the room as Georgia sat behind her desk, a red pen in one hand, her tablet in the other. The lights overhead were dimmed slightly, casting a soft golden glow across the scattered folders, two half-finished coffees, and her open laptop. Outside the tall windows, the sun was sinking slowly behind the skyline, coloring the glass in orange and soft pink. Her eyes moved across the Briston proposal presentation on the screen. The design was clean. Maybe too clean. Each slide looked nice, and well put together. But it didn’t move her. Georgia circled a line with her red pen and mumbled under her breath, "Too perfect.
